The Royal Arts Complex in Riyadh is envisioned as the capital’s expansive "green lung" and the world's largest urban park, encompassing key cultural institutions such as the Museum of World Cultures, National Theatre, and Royal Institute of Traditional Arts. This ambitious project emphasizes enriching Riyadh’s cultural fabric and realising the vision of the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, creating a green hub on the north side of the city of Riyadh. Spanning over 7 kilometres of walking paths, the complex integrates a variety of sports facilities and shaded relaxation areas to escape the Saudi Arabian heat. The planting strategy includes the ambitious goal of planting 1 million trees, creating lush greenery that extends into neighbouring residential areas and enhances the cityscape.
